DevSister’s popular Cookie Run: Kingdom, a mobile game where cookies team up to battle enemies using a slew of special powers, has released the next episode in its story featuring a whole new playable area along with two new Cookies–one Legendary and one Epic–to complement the release of the newest area.
After the Cookies arrive in the City of Wizards by boarding the a train where they find Moonlight Cookie asleep and unable to help, but they have the opportunity to go back in time. The newest episode, Dream Express, starts the Cookies off in a cabin with odd plants and in a strange world where the ocean is just outside their window!
In the Dream Express episode, you can play it in both Story and Dark modes. Once you’ve completed the episode, you can take a Bear Jelly Balloon to explore the episode.
The release of Dream Express will also see the addition of Milky Way Cookie and Moonlight Cookie as playable characters. Milky Way Cookie is Slumbering Moon’s conductor of the Sugarcloud Express that will take you “to your sweetest dreams and back!” Moonlight Cookie was created by ancient wizards and is the sole protector of the city, and she is strongest while sleeping.
Some other new items being added to the game include Special Toppings that select Cookies can equip, the Dream Conductor’s Whistle (a treasure) that increases CRIT by 15% at the beginning of battle when used, and you’ll be able to select the Ancient Cookie of your choice in Might of the Ancients.
Might of the Ancients will allow you to play your selected Ancient Cookie in World Exploration only but as you complete missions that unlock more stages, you will be able to play more with the cookie. You can receive a special Landmark that will boost the stats of Ancient Cookies from these missions. There will be changes to Hollyberry Cookie and Pure Vanilla Cookie with this update that will buff them!
Cake Hound Frenzy stages also are included in the 2nd Anniversary update as a limited time mode that will be available to play for six weeks. You will receive Cake Crumbs and Glowing Cake Crumbs from these battles. These can be used to unlock items, including Moonlight Cookie’s Soulstones.
