As anticipation for the latest Cookie Run: OvenBreak update has been building, the developers have finally rolled out the Pond Dino Update. The update introduces a new cookie, a pet, and a plethora of other additions and adjustments.
Firstly, the update brings in the Pond Dino Cookie, which stands out with its unique underwater swimming ability. Accompanying the Pond Dino Cookie is the Starflower Smoocher pet, which creates Heart Bubble Jellies and interacts with colorful fish.
The update also adds two new levels to the Technical License. This expansion will bring additional challenges and rewards for players to conquer.
Another noteworthy feature of the Pond Dino Update is the introduction of new costumes. The Lotus Palace’s Best Employee costume for Hydrangea Cookie (Super Epic), and the Slithering Strategist for Snake Fruit Cookie (Epic) have been added. These costumes will be available under a special rate-up banner from May 12th, 2023, at 10:00 AM till June 27th, 2023, at 8:00 AM (GMT+9). However, it’s worth noting that the duration of certain Costume and Jelly Shape banners has been slightly adjusted.
The City of Wizards map in the Breakout mode will return to the regular Special Episode rewards after May 17th, 9 PM (GMT+9). In the Champions League, the Pizza Delivery Area map has been replaced by the Fancy Yogurcan Mansion map.
The Pond Dino Update implements a range of balance adjustments and bug fixes. Both the Hydrangea Cookie and Snake Fruit Cookie have had their point distributions adjusted. Similarly, the Floral Froglet and Ivory Scale Fan pets have also seen changes in their cooldown and point values. There have also been adjustments made to the Apple Candy Balloon treasure and certain Combi’s.
The update also modifies the trials for Hydrangea Cookie, Snake Fruit Cookie, and Poison Mushroom Cookie, adjusting scores and placements of Jellies and Potions. Finally, two known issues, involving cooldown for Paper Boat Sailor and Bunsy and the Combi bonus for Bear Jelly Boomerang, have been identified and are scheduled to be fixed with the May 30 update.
