Featured Crab Champions

Crab Champions released a patch with bug fixes and quality of life improvements. Crab Champions is a fast-paced shooter game with roguelike elements where players can travel across exotic islands, defeat hordes of enemies, and collect loot to become as powerful as possible. The game features three difficulty levels, and if you need help understanding what the differences are between Crab Champions” Difficulty Levels, we have a comparison!

Crab Champions Difficulty Levels

Crab Champions has three difficulty levels available when you start a run, but unlike other games, “normal” isn’t exactly a walk in the park — or a “light jog in shallow water” as the game describes it as. Normal will still offer players a challenging experience if they are new to the game and still getting used to its perk system, all the different weapons (and mods) offered, and so forth.

EasyNormalNightmare
“A calming walk on the beach.”“A light jog in shallow water.”“A sprint through lava.”
+100% starting health-25% starting health
-50% enemies spawn+150% enemies spawn
-50% enemy health+50% enemy health
-66% enemy damage+50% enemy damage
-25% enemy speed+33 enemy speed

Everything scales exponentially in the game, both your DPS but also enemy health, so as you get deeper into a run, you can get out-scaled by your enemies and not be able to defeat the final boss. We recommend starting off on Easy mode to get to know the game and its mechanisms before trying Normal a go.

We hope this comparison of Crab Champions’ Difficulty Levels helped you figure out the best place to start your run! Check out more of our Crab Champions’ coverage.
