Dont Nod Will Release Eight Games Between 2023 And 2025

Don’t Nod Entertainment announces that it has eight games in development that are scheduled for release between the years 2023 and 2025.

Don’t Nod Entertainment is an independent French video game development company based in Paris. Having been established in June 2008, it soon began work on Remember Me (2013). Due to the low return on investment that Don’t Nod received, the company underwent “judicial reorganization” in the year 2013. In 2014, with the assistance of funds from a French agency, it signed the video game Life Is Strange (2015) with the publisher Square Enix Europe. The game’s subsequent success elevated Don’t Nod’s standing in the industry. Don’t Nod became a publicly traded company on the Euronext Growth market in May of 2018. Vampyr, The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, Life Is Strange 2, Twin Mirror, and Tell Me Why are some of the company’s other video games that they have developed.

Recently, DON‘T NOD presented its first half of 2022 results as approved by its Board of Directors on October 6, 2022. In the first half of 2022, DON’T NOD had a positive gross operational cash flow of €2.2 million, compared to €3.6 million in the same period in the previous year. The majority of the capital expenditures for H1 2022 (11.3 million euros) were linked to the development of games using self-publishing, co-production, and external publishing methods.

“Our teams are fully committed to the ramp-up of production and we now possess a rich pipeline that will be a strong driver of value creation for the next three years. After two years focusing on capital expenditure, international roll-out, and the ramp-up of the marketing and publishing departments, in 2023 the Group will cross a further milestone in its development and start stepping up the pace of releases.”

Oskar Guilbert, Chairman and CEO of DON’T NOD

DON’T NOD stated that it will continue to develop its rich pipeline of eight original creations during the second half of 2022. This pipeline will include five self-published games, one co-production with FOCUS Entertainment, and two games developed in collaboration with external studios Tolima and Tiny Bull. The release of each of these titles is anticipated to take place between the years 2023 and 2025.

In the meantime, DON’T NOD will continue to pursue its development strategy, which is aimed at increasing accessibility by diversifying the gameplay mechanics of projects that are currently in development. They are also working to develop co-production in markets that have a high potential for sales as well as strengthening partnerships through co-financing and minimum guarantee arrangements.
