Today, Paradox Interactive announced Crusader Kings III: Fate of Iberia, the newest expansion of Crusader Kings III, which will, as many could guess by its title, take players to the Iberian peninsula region.
Fate of Iberia will be the title’s third major expansion, as well as its second Flavor Pack, following the release of both Crusader Kings III: Northern Lords in March 2021 and Crusader Kings III: Royal Court in February 2022. Crusader Kings III: Fate of Iberia is set to be released on May 31, 2022.

As you can see in the trailer above, the new Fate of Iberia expansion will give players the ability to, in true Crusader Kings fashion, decide the fate of the new region with each one of their decisions. As each of them will, no matter how small they seem to be at the moment, have consequences. As part of the new expansion, players will also be able to fully customize their character with a full set of garments and armor, as well as experience a new wave of thematic events.
Crusader Kings III is the latest main installment in the acclaimed series, as well as the first one in the series to be released to the current generation of consoles. The title was first released on September 1st, 2020, exclusively for PC.
You can currently play Crusader Kings III on PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC, via both Steam and the Microsoft Store. You can currently pre-order Crusader Kings III: Fate of Iberia on Steam for $6.99. The upcoming expansion is also available as part of both the Crusader Kings III: Expansion Pass and of the title’s Royal Edition.
