Die by the Blade is a 3D arcade platformer where you battle 1v1 in a cyberpunk samurai-style game. From Kwalee, Triple Hill Interactive, Grindstone, and Toko Midori Games, Die by the Blade is officially launching on Playstation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on November 3, 2022.
The official release date reveal trailer showcases another look into the game, including weapons and general gameplay.
Die by the Blade is a 1v1 weapons fighter game where you must use your trusty weapon to defeat your opponent. In this game, players can fight through the single-player story-driven campaign or defeat their friends in local or online multiplayer mode.
But if that’s not challenging enough, you can test your skills against unknown players in the ranked online matches and prove your superiority. There is also a Practice mode and Tournament mode, as well.
What’s interesting about this game is that there are no health bars– it only takes one hit to kill. Even so, you can’t let your guard down because this game leaves no room for error. If you want to survive, you’ll have to master and memorize the parrying mechanics and your weapon combos.
In addition, various weapons are available for you to choose from, and your moves will be based on your choice of weapon rather than the character, which is an interesting and exciting feature. It means you can pick a character you’d like with a backstory that resonates with you. You can also mold them into your ideal character with various customization features.
