Dark Gathering is a supernatural horror shounen manga from the author and artist Kenichi Kondou. Dark Gathering began publishing in 2019, and the TV Anime adaptation has been announced for 2023.

Dark Gathering follows the story of Keitarou Gentouga. He is a college student who hates ghosts and has a talent for attracting them. He received a supernatural injury because of his ability two years prior, and his friend got caught in the crossfire.
This terrible event caused Keitarou to become a shut-in with bad social skills. Thankfully, his childhood friend Eiko Houzuki helps him mingle with society and begin his rehabilitation.
He decides to work part-time as a private tutor. His first student is Eiko’s cousin, Yayoi Houzuki, a child prodigy. Like Keitarou, she also has a spiritual ability. However, she wants to encounter spirits and find the one that took her mother.
Keitarou soon finds himself on a path that leads him further into the supernatural world as they hunt for spirits. He hopes that by facing them head-on, he might be able to break free of the curse that is his ability. At the same time, dangers lurk around the corner, and the three hunt for clues while building strange and unforgettable bonds.
While the voice actors and staff have yet to be revealed, the director for Dark Gathering has been announced. Hiroshi Ikehata will be the director of this series. He is known for his incredible work on anime titles such as TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You, Kiratto Pri☆chan Season 2, and Bem Movie: Become Human.
