Fortnite has become the place for entertainment companies to showcase their characters or other promotional material. In the past, this has meant characters entering the Battle Royale like Lara Croft, Rick Sanchez, Spider-Man, and Bruno Mars, to name a few. However, Fortnite has surprised its players more than once with the crossovers it brings to the game.
Now, according to some screenshots leaked during the State of Unreal on April 5th, 2022, players are wondering about some new skins. Additionally, people have flocked to social media to discuss the potential of another Star Wars crossover and another animated comedy show.
Darth Vader Skin Maybe Leaked for Fortnite
During the State of Unreal earlier today, many Fortnite fans were tuned in to hopefully hear more about the game and potentially the future of the creative mode. However, what many fans got instead was a look at some potential skins for the next season of Fortnite. Popular content creator ShiinaBR shared the screenshot from the show on their page on Twitter.
Most noticeably, there is a folder with the name “C3S3_Vader,” which many fans have taken to mean that Darth Vader is coming to the game next season. There is also a Chapter 3 entry for Jones, which may mean the classic character is getting a new skin. Since Fortnite has done a few Star Wars crossovers in the past, it wouldn’t be far-fetched to imagine Darth Vader being the next one.
Other Potential Crossovers Leaked
One of the other folders in the image above also shows some “Tease” in Chapter Three, Season Two, that will likely come when we get closer to the end. This could be another character or similar to the earthquakes that teased the Imagined Order’s arrival at the end of last season. There was one more crossover that might have leaked that seems a little hard to believe.
According to Shiina’s other Twitter account, they also noticed that there was a “Family Guy” folder with the others. This leak could potentially point to characters from the animated series coming to Fortnite soon. Many fans have been making jokes about Family Guy in Fortnite for months, so it would be interesting to see it happen. This is pure speculation, as Epic won’t let the secret out.
Fans will have to wait until this season ends in June to see if there is any truth to the Darth Vader rumors and leaks.
