Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors. As Survivors, it’s your job to try and escape the Killer and avoid being captured, tortured, and killed.

Like the previous chapters, Survivors still play in third person and have the situational awareness advantage. The Killer plays in first-person and is more focused on their prey. In this new chapter, there is a new Killer called The Dredge. In addition, there is also a new survivor, Haddie Kaur, and an entirely new map called Garden of Joy. But as this is a horror game, it’s doubtful that this garden will be filled with joy.
The Dredge, the new Killer, is an abomination formed of flesh and twisted limbs in this chapter. It is the manifestation of darkness itself. The light drains in its presence, making it challenging to navigate your way through this horror-filled map. What’s horrifying about this Killer is that it can be halfway across the map at one moment, and in the next, it’s right beside you. The only tell-tale signs are the horrible whispers and sudden darkness.
The new Survivor, Haddie Kaur, has horrifying visions. She braves the horrible corners of the world where dimensions overlap and broadcasts her discoveries on her podcast. What she doesn’t know, however, is that her journey is only going to get darker.
