Dead Space Remake is a survival-horror game that is a remake of the 2008 game by the same name. The remake was developed by Motive Studio and published by EA. It is set in the 26th century and follows engineer Isaac Clarke who has to survive as he tries to save his crewmates and figure out why USG Ishimura has gone silent. Isaac Clarke is the protagonist of Dead Space and used to be a ship systems engineer that worked for the Concordance Extraction Corporation who was sent to the USG Ishimura to help repair it but has now found himself having to survive in a hostile environment.
Nicole Brennan was a Senior Medical Officer while on the USG Ishimura and was originally a survivor of a Necromorph outbreak on the ship. Isaac Clarke was her boyfriend.
Kendra Daniels was working undercover as a CEC computer-specialist on the USG Kellion as part of its maintenance team. She is really an Earth Government agent.
Zach Hammond is the USG Kellion’s Chief of Security for the Concordance Extraction Corporation and was one of the three survivors that made it to the USG Ishimura with Isaac Clarke and Kendra Daniels.
Chen is the pilot of the USG Kellion working for the Concordance Extraction Corporation. He was one of the first people to try to communicate with the USG Ishimura, but he doesn’t make it far onto the USG Ishimura.
Johnston is the co-pilot of the USG Kellion and was under the command of Zach Hammond. She sustained an injury to her ankle when the USG Kellion crash-landed, so she didn’t originally board the Ishimura.
Challus Mercer was a scientist on the USG Ishimura and a Unitologist, often considered a zealot because of its devotion to it. He became obsessed with Necromorphs once infection spread across the Ishimura and is one of the antagonists of Dead Space.
Terrence Kyne was the Chief Science Officer for the USG Ishimura and a high-ranking member of the Unitology church.
Benjamin Mathius was the Captain of the USG Ishimura and was on a mission to get Marker 3A for the Church of Unitology.
Jacob Temple was aboard the USG Ishimura as an engineer and chronicled the disastrous voyage faithfully.
Elizabeth Cross was aboard the USG Ishimura as a horticulturalist who spent most of her time on the Hydroponics deck.
