“If at first you don’t succeed.. Die, Die again.” This is the box-art quote that defines Deathloop, a first-person shooter developed by Arkane Lyon and published by Bethesda Softworks. Though originally a Playstation 5 and PC exclusive, this highly rated title appears to be coming to Xbox soon.

Xbox players who have been eagerly waiting for this title were pleasantly surprised this morning when they logged in to see the Deathloop title card in the Xbox store. Sporting the promising words “coming soon,” it’s easy to deduce that Deathloop will be available on the Xbox in no time at all.

Though clicking on the title for Deathloop will take you back to the store frontpage, this is likely just because the store page for Deathloop hasn’t been put together yet and shouldn’t dissuade your excitement for this upcoming title.

Deathloop sees players taking control of Colt, a famous assassin who’s been caught in a time loop of the same day repeating over and over again. Colt must find and kill 8 targets before the day ends, otherwise he’ll have to restart the loop once more.

Players can also choose to play as Julianna, allowing them to invade other player’s games and attempt to stop them from assassinating the 8 targets. While this multiplayer feature is optional, it adds an exciting amount of unpredictability to the game that really serves as its bread and butter.
