Horizon Forbidden West is the sequel to the popular Horizon Zero Dawn that follows Aloy through the post-apocalyptic world that is dominated by mechanical animals. While you traverse through the dangers of this fantastical version of Earth, you will come across a variety of new and exciting things that you might not understand or be able to figure out. If you are attempting to unlock the door in Latopolis during the Death’s Door quest, we have the code you need to unlock it!

Death’s Door Code

The code to unlock the door in the Death’s Door quest in Horizon Forbidden West is 7482. It can be found by scanning a datapoint right in the room before you entering the area that has the locked door.

The Text Datapoint is known as Bad Urges, and gives you some lore on what’s going on with a project that was being worked on within the facility. While the code isn’t explicitly called out, you will see the four digit number referred to as a favorite of the person who left the log.

You might have already scanned the text log and moved on, so just open up your Notebook if you want to read the entry in its entirety!

Once you unlock the door with the code, you will move forward in the Death’s Door quest and now need to find a way to the Inner Gene-Locked Hatch! Unfortunately, opening up this barrier doesn’t reward you with any sweet loot, however, you will move forward in the main story!

That’s everything you need to know about finding the code to unlock Death’s Door that can be found in Latopolis. You’ll find more great content about it in the Horizon Forbidden West section of our website.
