The original asymmetrical horror multiplayer, Deceit, has returned for a sequel, featuring innovative gameplay, new content and characters, and an environment that is more frightening than ever.
Deceit 2 is an upcoming multiplayer social deduction horror game developed and published by World Makers. It is the second installment in the original Deceit game, released in 2017. In contrast to the first installment, Deceit 2 allows 6 to 9 players to participate in the Ritual of Deceit of the malevolent Game Master.

In Deceit 2, players will take on different roles in a social deduction horror game in which two of the six to nine players have been Infected and the rest are called the Innocent. When the Infected carry out the Game Master‘s orders, the Innocent must work together to escape the Ritual while determining who is plotting against them.
Infected players will cause chaos and disrupt Innocent players’ efforts, but they may be eliminated if they are exposed outside of the In-Between, a parallel dimension in which the Infected possess terrifying powers. Nonetheless, Innocent players have power in numbers. They can eliminate any suspected Infected player by damaging them to trigger a banishing ritual.
Deceit 2 is intended to be a social sandbox with innovative and creative ways to play both roles. Unlike other asymmetrical horror games, social deception is central to Deceit 2, so players must observe other players’ behavior and evaluate the scene before making any hasty actions. There are several tools available to help, but with item and map differences between games, players must modify their strategy as they progress.
