A collaboration between the popular titles Arknights and Destiny 2 has been teased, as the Chinese servers of Arknights celebrate their fourth anniversary. Although the two games have completely different themes, the official confirmation from Yostar has stirred excitement within both fanbases. In the past, Yostar has introduced new operators based on characters from games they have collaborated with, and there’s thought among fans that Bungie might reveal armor sets and ornaments inspired by the anime Gacha title.

The collaboration seems to be a story collection event, most likely featuring Destiny skins within the Arknights universe. The teaser video provides limited information, depicting a Ghost soaring through the remnants of a ruined city and gazing into the camera. Fans can likely expect more details to emerge in the coming days.

There is speculation about the possibility of a weapon collaboration, as well as emotes, sparrows, and ghosts. However, it is unlikely that character models will be altered for this event. Arknights has previously collaborated with popular titles such as Monster Hunter: World, Rainbow Six Siege, Muse Dash, Cytus II, and the animated series Legend of Luo Xiaohei.

In Arknights, players assume the role of a key member of Rhodes Island, a pharmaceutical company that combats a deadly infection and the chaos it leaves behind. Under the guidance of leader Amiya, players recruit Operators, train them, and assign them to various operations to protect the innocent and oppose those who would plunge the world into turmoil. The future of Rhodes Island depends on players’ tactics.

The game combines anime-style visuals with RPG and strategy elements, offering hundreds of unique Operators across various classes for a wide range of gameplay options. The Auto Deploy system allows for hands-free gaming, while the Base construction system enables players to create a personalized home. With a powerful soundtrack and performances by some of Japan’s most renowned voice actors and actresses, Arknights delivers a sublime auditory experience.
