The mobile action game Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat finally has a release date, thanks to a tweet from a composer. Players will be able to download and play the game on January 10, 2024, as confirmed by Casey Edwards.

According to the tweet, the game will release on January 10, 2024. This is after his theme releases on January 3, 2023. Since this is from someone who has worked on the game, we’re going to take it at face value.

For those unaware of the game, Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat brings the iconic Devil May Cry hack-and-slash action to mobile devices like iOS and Android. According to the game description, it promises to be a faithful recreation of the series’ fast-paced, combo-heavy gameplay. Developed by NebulaJoy in close collaboration with Capcom’s official Devil May Cry team, the game should be an authentic DMC experience on your phone.

Players can master the combat of Dante, Lady, Vergil, Nero, and V, all in a single level. Seamless character switching mid-combat adds tactical depth, allowing for devastating combo chains and strategic flexibility.
Dante is also kept as Peak of Combat grants access to every melee weapon from Devil May Cry 3, alongside the iconic Rebellion axe from DmC. Lady and Vergil also receive exciting redesigns and new moves, ensuring a fresh yet familiar experience for veteran hunters.

Beyond the familiar faces, Peak of Combat boasts a brand-new storyline set within the established Devil May Cry universe. This may not be the Devil May Cry remake that many have called for, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction.
