It’s a fully-realized open world with a creepy, unnerving feel. Diablo 4 will offer robust character customization, an open and shared world, and ever-changing end game content to keep the game fresh and interesting for hardcore players.
There are almost 150 different dungeons in the game. Strongholds are enemy territory that players will need to reclaim, and then it becomes a friendly town. There are also local events, where you can choose to participate in it and get a group together to beat up world bosses.
The shared world aspect will make it more of a social experience, and you can group up across device so if your friend has a PC and you have an Xbox, you can group together to play. There will be PvP.
The end game is the beginning of a different type of journey, and the end game enables players to get more and more powerful with new dungeons and paragons. They expect to support it “for years to come.”
Diablo 4 releases in 2023, which we expect to see in the first half of 2023 as it was announced at Xbox Bethesda’s showcase that only revealed games that will be available to play in the next 12 months.
