Diablo Immortal, the next installment in the Diablo franchise, is coming to iOS, Android, and PC Open Beta on June 2, 2022. Diablo Immortal is a free-to-play MMORPG fantasy and action game.
In this game, players will battle against ancient evils and discover the untold story between Diablo II and Diablo III. The Archangel Tyrael is presumed dead, and humanity is left to deal with the aftermath of his actions. Fragments of the shattered Worldstone are corrupting the land. Diablo’s minions hope to harness that power to allow him to return.
The Diablo Immortal trailer shows incredible cinematography, gameplay, and what players can expect from the game.
In this game, players will be able to choose from several classes. These include:
- Barbarian: A savage wandering race that uses crushing blows to defeat enemies.
- Crusaders: They use their faith and weapons to defeat evil.
- Demon Hunter: They are vigilantes who strike from afar and won’t stop until their prey dies.
- Monk: Monks are masters of martial arts who can defeat their enemies with many fast strikes.
- Necromancer: The priests of Rathma manipulate life and death to maintain order and balance.
- Wizard: Wizards use arcane powers to strike and destroy their foes from a distance.
Besides these classes, the trailer also showed several new and horrific characters or encounters that players will face. These include:
- The Skeleton King: A King driven to madness by Diablo, the Lord of Terror. The horrors he committed while alive would rival those he’d commit if he and his undead army were ever to return.
- The Haunted Carriage: Players venturing into the Ashwold Cemetery must be careful, as they will run into the haunted carriage, which is said to carry the souls of the dead.
- Countess: The Countess was raised in an isolated forest where she would bathe in the blood of her captives to maintain her youthful appearance. She could not be killed, so they interred her in the castle’s tower.
- Fahir: Fahir, an undying monarch, dominated Shassar before it became a wasteland. In his empire, sacrifices were made. They performed cursed longevity rituals for the aristocrats and the king.
- Baal: Baal is one of the three Prime Evils and corruptor of the Worldstone. Wherever Baal appears, he incites or inspires destruction. If it weren’t for the Archangel Tyrael’s sacrifice, he would have destroyed the Sanctuary.
- Glacial Colossus: The Glacial Colossus serves as a guardian of the Iceburn Tear. The stone formed from the flesh of those who tried to claim and use the stone’s powers.
