DogLife is a BitLife-like app being released by CandyWriter in the near future!

Players of the popular game BitLife have long awaited a new update for the game. However, it looks like rather than adding a major patch to BitLife, the team at CandyWriter is going to be launching a new app called, DogLife. This will be a completely separate app from BitLife, so expect some interesting scenarios to take place, with you taking the form of a dog and living your life in pet form!

What is DogLife?

This got a bit confusing initially, because originally it appeared to be an update for BitLife itself, but it has been confirmed by the BitLife Twitter account that it’s a whole new game. That means you will be downloading a completely separate application to play the game known as DogLife. It will be available for both iOS and Android, so hopefully there won’t be any lagged updates for either platform.

Now, as for what DogLife is going to be, well that’s somewhat unclear. It seems likely that it’s going to be a game where rather than play as a human, you will be playing as a dog. What kind of wacky hi-jinks can you get into as a k-9? We’ll have to wait and find out!

Here’s an example of what the game will look like when you get to play it. You will be specific breed of dog, you could be in an animal shelter, you will have Happiness, Health, Cuteness, Love, and Attention stats to keep up with. There’s also a Scent Database which we don’t know much about at the moment!

There was a video posted previously that seemed like a future update for BitLife, but now it’s possible that this will be some of the gameplay for DogLife.

One obvious question is how are you going to live much of a life if you only get 10 – 20 years as a dog? Well, it was confirmed that when you age up it will only add three months at a time. This will give you some more opportunities for getting into trouble as a dog.

The game’s focus will be on all kinds of dogs, which will include strays, pets, shelter dogs, etc. You will be able to breed and likely play as a variety of different types of dog. There are 50+ breeds that can be combined together.

When is the release date for DogLife?

DogLife has been released for Android devices on October 31st, 2021 on the Google Play store. It was later released on Apple devices on November 2nd, 2021:

What about BitLife?

If you’re worried that BitLife is no longer going to get updates then you shouldn’t be. The team at Candywriter has confirmed that they are still working on the game and new things will be added in the future. It is possibly going to be a business update, which was mentioned in the past and hinted at in this tweet.
