Pixel Perfect Dude has officially announced their next title in development, #DRIVE Rally, the newest iteration of their #DRIVE franchise. This arcade racing game is set to launch for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, in 2024.
In #DRIVE Rally, players will be immersed in the thrilling era of 90s motorsport history. Players will experience driving legendary rally cars, such as Das Holzwagen, The Doggo, The Bobond, and many more. These rally cars are easy to learn but hard to master. The game introduces a simple and intuitive driving model that ensures accessibility for beginners but also offers challenging trials to veterans and also designed to bring back joy to racing games.
The game features various racing terrains, including the sunny landscapes of Dry Crumbs, the whispering woods of Holzberg, and the chilly wilderness of Revontuli. Throughout the races, the player’s co-driver can be their biggest cheerleader and toughest critic, a collaborative partnership that thrives on performance and emotions. While they may celebrate the victories together, players must be ready to face criticism for failures.
Players will also build their cars from the base in #DRIVE Rally, allowing them to tailor their cars to their driving style, making them compete on their own terms. They may also personalize the body, paintwork, and decals, and add other custom decorations to their cars.
