Electronic Arts has formally disclosed the development of the next entry in the EA Sports UFC series, UFC 5. While the game is not a complete surprise, this is the first announcement that reveals when we will actually be getting information on the title. Fans have been eagerly awaiting a sequel to UFC 4, which was released all the way back in August 2020.

Further specifics regarding the game are unknown at the moment, with EA encouraging sign-ups for the game’s newsletter to receive future information. However, it’s reasonable to anticipate an updated roster, improved fighting game mechanics, and enhanced visuals.

While many players are excited for the new game, many are hoping for a PC release. This has been highly requested as of late, but it is currently unknown whether or not EA will acquiesce.
