EA and Motive Studio will be revealing more on the Dead Space Remake at the end of September, sources suggest.
An in-person media event is scheduled to take place in the last week of September to give media and creators the opportunity to learn more about the remake. The event will contain a presentation in addition to the opportunity to ask developers questions and get hands-on with the game.
It’s understood that the media and creators will also be able to record footage, presumably for review purposes.
Although the event will take place for the media at the end of September, it’s currently unknown when the information will be relayed to the public. But if recent EA media events are to set the norm, it will likely be within a week or two.
The Dead Space Remake will follow the same basic plot as the original, with the story following engineer Isaac Clarke (Gunner Wright to reprise his role). The game will retain the same story and structure as the original but will feature redesigned assets, character models, and environments.
Dead Space Remake is scheduled to release on January 27th, 2023 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
