Elemental Grounds Spins

Magic Spin: Obtaining New Elements

Magic Spins are the key to unlocking new elements. Here’s how to get them:

  • Completing Quests (including Daily Quests)
  • Leveling Up Rewards
  • Finding Spin Crystals around the map (these can grant single or multiple Regular Spins)
  • Spending time in AFK Grounds
  • Controlling Gang Capture Zones

Spin Rarities and the Pity System

Magic Spins have different rarities:

  • Common: 89.3% chance
  • Rare: 10% chance
  • Epic: 0.5% chance
  • Legendary: 0.1% chance
  • Mythical: 0.06% chance (approximately 1/1750)
  • Godly: 0.0003% chance (approximately 1/3125)

Don’t worry if you’re not getting the rare elements right away! The pity system is designed to help you out:

  • Rare Pity Spin: After 60 regular spins, you’ll automatically receive a Rare Pity Spin. These spins have slightly better stats (excluding the Multiplier stat) and increased chances of obtaining rarer elements:
    • Godly: 0.3%
    • Mythical: 0.5%
    • Legendary: 1%
    • Epic: 4.7%
    • Rare: 93.5%
  • Epic Pity Spin: After 250 regular spins, you’ll automatically receive an Epic Pity Spin. These have even better stats (though not as good as Resonated Spins, which we’ll discuss later) and further improved chances for rarer elements:
    • Godly: 4.7%
    • Mythical: 8.3%
    • Legendary: 14.5%
    • Epic: 72.5%

Resonated Spins: The Key to Powerful Elements

Resonated Spins are highly sought after because they provide significantly better stats (excluding Multiplier) and a massive 40x increased chance of rolling rare elements. Here’s how to get them:

  • Timed Spawns: Resonated Spins have a 15% chance to spawn at 11:11:11 UTC and 22:22:22 UTC at the Center of Blocktal Grounds.
  • Diamond Dave: You can purchase Resonated Spins from Diamond Dave (more on him later).
  • Level 100 Reward: Reaching level 100 grants you a Resonated Spin.

The element chances for Resonated Spins are:

  • Godly: 1.3%
  • Mythical: 2.3%
  • Legendary: 4%
  • Epic: 20%
  • Rare: 40%
  • Common: 32.4%

Race Spin: Enhancing Your Race

Race Spins also utilize Classic Spins but require specific crystals that can be extracted at the Resonator:

  • Experience Spin: Obtained from Experience Crystals or AFK Grounds
  • Stat Spin: Obtained from Stat Crystals or from Diamond Dave
  • Spin Spin: Obtained from Spin Crystals or AFK Grounds (yes, these give you more spins!)

Elemental Grounds Leveling Up

Leveling Up and Gaining Experience

Leveling up is crucial for progression in Elemental Grounds. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Reaching level 100 from level 1 requires approximately 900,000 experience points.
  • Every 6 levels you gain, you’ll receive 3 Magic Spins.
  • Upon reaching level 100, you’ll be rewarded with 15 Magic Spins and 1 Resonated Spin.
  • New players have a protective forcefield until they reach level 45.

Experience Boosts: Level Up Faster

You can accelerate your leveling progress with experience boosts:

  • Daily Spin/Shop Boosts: These boosts can provide a 1.5x or 2x experience multiplier.
  • 1.5x Experience Gamepass: This gamepass acts as a final multiplier, boosting all other experience gains. For example, if you have a 2x boost and a 1.5x boost active, you’ll gain 2.5x experience from skills. If you also have the gamepass, your total experience gain will be 3.75x (2.5 x 1.5). The calculation is (1 + 1 (from the 2x boost) + 0.5 (from the 1.5x boost)) * 1.5 (from the gamepass).

Elemental Grounds Stats

Stats: A Breakdown

Stats are randomly generated and significantly impact your abilities. You can enhance your stats by acquiring Resonance Crystals from Stat Crystals. These crystals are rare, so use them wisely.

  • Multiplier: Affects both damage and defense. Each bar increases these stats by a factor of 1.055, up to a maximum of 1.5x at 10 bars. At 10 bars, you also unlock the “Conqueror’s Will” ability.
  • Damage: Directly increases your damage output. Each bar adds a 1.055x multiplier, up to 1.5x at 10 bars.
  • Handling: Influences several aspects of your abilities, including cast time (how quickly you can use an ability), the interval between casts for multi-projectile attacks, cooldown reduction (by ~1.025x per bar, up to 1.25x at 10 bars), range, radius, accuracy, maximum cast count, and cast size. Reaching 10 Handling bars unlocks the “Scroll” feature.
  • Defense: Directly increases your maximum health by a factor of 1.055 per bar, up to 1.5x at 10 bars. This also increases your health regeneration rate. Having 10 Defense bars unlocks the “Iron Skin” ability.

Stat Calculations and Element-Specific Requirements:

It’s important to note that some elements have specific stat requirements. Here are a few examples of how stats are calculated:

  • Multiplier/Damage Combinations:
    • 1 Multiplier, 1 Damage = 1x Damage
    • 10 Multiplier, 1 Damage (or vice-versa) = 1.5x Damage
    • 10 Multiplier, 10 Damage = 2x Damage
  • Multiplier/Defense Combinations:
    • 1 Multiplier, 1 Defense = 100-2080 Health
    • 10 Multiplier, 1 Defense (or vice-versa) = 100-3120 Health
    • 10 Multiplier, 10 Defense = 100-4160 Health

Example of Element-Specific Requirements: The Ice element requires an empty bar, otherwise, the user freezes. A higher Defense stat helps to decrease this bar more quickly (up to 2x faster).

Elemental Grounds Weather Effects and More

Weather Effects and Special Events

The weather in Elemental Grounds changes with the day/night cycle. Sometimes, different weathers affect certain races or abilities, making them stronger or weaker:

  • Daytime weathers last approximately 20 minutes.
  • Nighttime weathers last approximately 5 minutes.
  • Certain abilities and races receive buffs during specific weather conditions.
  • Rare weather events can trigger special in-game occurrences.

Daily Wheel Spin: Try Your Luck

Use Daily Wheel Spins to spin the daily wheel for rewards. You can obtain these spins by:

  • Completing your Daily Quests (you have a chance to earn 1-3 Daily Wheel Spins per day)
  • Purchasing them for 50 Robux

Important NPCs: Where to Find Them and What They Do

  • Diamond Dave: Located in the M.A.D. Bar next to the Forest of Napalm. Diamond Dave sells a variety of items:
    • Weapons: Dagger ($5000), Boxing Gloves ($5000), Engineer’s Kit ($7500, includes Blueprint, Wrench, and Hammer), Katana ($7500). These weapons require Elementless Souls to purchase.
    • Crystals: Experience Crystal ($1000, contains 2,000-240,000 experience), Spin Crystal ($1000, contains 1-30 spins), Resonated Spin Crystal ($15000), Stat Crystal ($80000).
  • Elemental Trainers: Trainers for Rare, Epic, and Legendary elements have a chance to spawn in the Arena every 30 minutes.
    • Spawn Chances: Rare (20%), Epic (10%), Legendary (5%). The chance for each individual trainer within a rarity tier is the total spawn chance divided by the number of trainers in that tier.
    • Drops: Trainers drop their respective souls, which can be traded with the Bartender for spins or fed to the voidal being (currently a work in progress). They also have a very low chance of dropping scrolls.
  • Angels: May be required for certain quests. They spawn during Heavenly Weather and the Day of Reckoning events. Angels are hostile towards Demons, Dark Souls, and anyone who attempts to attack them.
  • Demons: Attack anything not from Gehenna on sight. They may be required for certain quests and spawn during Abyssal Weather and the Day of Reckoning events.
