VR is an ever-evolving genre, with new headsets being launched all the time and games reacting to try and reach a larger audience. The PICO 4 headset launched late last year and has received multiple games, including Espire 2 today alongside an update that introduces new weekly challenges to keep those players engaged.
Enrise 2 received its v1.5 update today and it brings monumental additions like the launch on the PICO store for a 20 percent discount in addition to the new content. Some of the latest additions include weekly challenges and leaderboards, creating a way for players to test their skills. This will also allow for proving bragging rights. To celebrate this update, Espire 2 has released the new trailer below.
There are also improvements added to the multiplayer in this update for Meta Quest players, allowing for better connection and quality matches. A bug that was causing blocking to be ineffective has been patched and now matchmaking will no longer pair the player up with someone they had previously blocked.
Espire 2 has also been improved in this update with the move from Unreal Engine 4.26 to 4.27, allowing for better technical performance. This will enable Espire to run better and look more impressive as the developers continue to make sure the title is the best it can be.
The game follows players taking on the role of POE, a secret agent on a mission to stop one of the deadliest terrorist organizations known to mankind: OPHIS. Using two droid friends and a range of weapons, players can play on Meta Quest, Quest 2, and PICO 4 today.
