While the best space flight simulators were once reserved for PC players, fans can now explore the unique universe inside of EVERSPACE 2 on consoles today, with a new trailer showing what players can expect. The sequel from ROCKFISH Games is currently available on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles at 60 FPS.

In the new EVERSPACE 2 trailer that was revealed alongside the console launch, players can get an idea of the space exploration and fighting they may encounter. There is also a brief description of the player’s place in the galaxy and some of the people they will meet across their time in the galaxy. There are a variety of different locations shown, with the lives of millions allegedly hanging in the balance.

While the game is launching on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, those who are subscribed to the latter’s Game Pass program can play the game at no additional cost. This will likely help to boost the Xbox player numbers, and new players overall, since those on PlayStation will need to pay the full price to play. Regardless, this launch will only help the title get in front of more eyes.

With the next big space explorations title, Starfield, coming to Xbox consoles next month, EVERSPACE 2 could serve as a good substitution for the hype while players wait. It’s an exciting and beautiful title, one that will help you appreciate the scale and beauty of outer space.
