Independent AA developer, ROCKFISH Games, has announced the console release date for their space action RPG, Everspace 2. The game is scheduled for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 15, 2023. The game will be priced at $49.99 USD / £44.99 / €49.99 / ¥6930. PlayStation is currently accepting pre-orders, offering a 20% discount for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Xbox Game Pass users will have access to Everspace 2 from day one of its launch. The game will also be available to PC Game Pass and Microsoft Store players through Play Anywhere support on Xbox Series X|S. To date, the game has been tried by more than 120,000 PC Game Pass players.

Everspace 2 on PlayStation 5 will fully utilize the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback, adaptive trigger, and speaker features, enhancing the gameplay experience.
Everspace 2 players can look forward to an expansive 30-hour campaign, filled with alien species, mysteries, hidden treasures, and challenges from outlaw gangs. For completionists, there is potential for over 90 hours of gameplay, including side missions and hidden secrets.
The game boasts a wide range of weaponry and abilities, allowing players to engage in intense dogfights against drones, fighters, heavy bombers, and formidable gunships. It also features environmental interactions, giving players the opportunity to strategize against superior numbers.
The game offers vast exploration across the DMZ and surrounding areas of Cluster 34, filled with missions, activities, events, and secrets. Over 100 unique, handcrafted locations are spread across seven distinct star systems.
Players can expand their ship collection from a wide selection of unique classes, optimizing their build to perfection. Additionally, the game provides opportunities for pilots to acquire valuable loot from various locations across the DMZ, adding to their collection of gear and equipment.
Upon completion of Everspace 2’s extensive campaign, players can engage in high-risk areas and Ancient Rifts, allowing them to challenge their build and luck against increasingly tougher enemies. Successful runs will reward players with legendary gear featuring immense power and extraordinary abilities.
In collaboration with publisher Maximum Games, ROCKFISH Games will release a collector’s package for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on October 3, 2023. The Everspace 2 Stellar Edition will include a steelbook, a 64-page artbook, and a digital soundtrack download.
