Sony has released the list of new games that will be added to their PlayStation Now game streaming service, which gives you the ability to try a bunch of different games without having to own them. The service gives you the ability to either stream the game, which will require a pretty solid internet connection, or you can download it to your device and play it locally. This is similar to the well-known Xbox Gamepass, which has become quite popular recently, and appears to be the wave of the future.
The headliner for February 2022’s PlayStation Now release list is Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Definitive Edition. A very popular game from the past, that was recently re-released via the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. This was a fairly controversial release, because it arrived with a fair amount of bugs that even caused the games to be removed from the PC Store. It has since been added back.
The set of games received a big batch of fixes that seemingly got things under control, but a lot of damage was done by bad press due to the issues that Rockstar experience during the launch.
It does appear that things have been fixed for the most part, and a physical version of the trilogy will be soon available for the Nintendo Switch on February 11th, 2022.
While GTA: Vice City is the headliner there are a few more games that you will get a chance to play if you’re a subscriber. Little Big Workshop, Through the Darkest of Times, and Death Squared will also be added in February 2022. While these are lesser known games, they provide gamers with a variety of different gameplay styles to try!
