Festive Fish Locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley

It’s likely that as you work your way through the latest update to Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll want to catch some of the just-added festive fishes but if you’ve tried so far, you probably haven’t had any luck! We are here to help with the locations of the fishes but also to let you know whether festive fish are in game yet.

Dreamlight Valley is a hybrid between a “life-sim” and an adventure game that includes a mix of exploration, quests, and activities, like crafting and cooking, to keep the game fresh and playable over the long-term. Dreamlight Valley is a place where you’ll find both Disney and Pixar characters!

Are Festive Fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley Yet?

In the Missions in Uncharted Space Update, five Festive-versions of fish have been added… but not quite yet. In Disney’s patch notes, they stated that there were more festive items for later this month, and given that players have reported spending hours attempting to catch festive fish to no avail… well, it seems likely that Festive Fish will be released closer to Christmas (December 25th).

This would be similar to the Halloween event that kicked off on October 24th, so our best guess is to expect the Festive Fishes to be catchable around December 17th (about a week before Christmas). It is definitely frustrating as we know some characters list Festive Fishes as gifts they would love!

Festive Fish Locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Festive Fish are existing fish that can now be caught in festive costumes, so we expect that the Festive Fish Locations will remain the same as that would make the most sense. You will five all five new Festive Fishes that have been added and the areas they can be fished in.
