Filthy Animals: Heist Simulator has been seeing consistent updates since its launch in April, with a new Summer Update releasing today on Steam. It brings some quality-of-life improvements, but the major addition is a new level where players don’t have to do anything but relax and enjoy a simple vacation at the Last Resort, also offering the base game at a 25 percent discount.

While there might be a little bit of radioactive waste, the Last Resort is the best-kept vacation spot that Filthy Animals has ever seen. While there aren’t traditional gameplay objectives like in the other levels, there is some kind of buried treasure that players can look for. Other than that, there are slides, zip lines, and some balls to kick around.

This new Summer Update follows a range of QoL improvements that were released last Friday, June 23. One of the major editions is allowing players to leave and then return to a heist on the level they left off on, which means you don’t need to schedule out large blocks of time with friends to achieve your objectives. In the same vein, the time you spend on a level is now recorded, with the best time shown.

There are other improvements to multiplayer, allowing for less failure and longer times that you can keep playing thanks to fundamental changes to the revive system. Overall, the previous improvements seem focused on creating a little bit more help for players and preventing issues that were arriving when characters were turned into flushies.

Filthy Animals: Heist Simulator is currently available on PC via Steam.
