Valisthea, a land once blessed by Mothercrystals and the abundant aether that powers magicks, now faces a dwindling supply of aether, spreading deadlands, and fierce battles among rival nations seeking the remaining crystals. Dominants, individuals who possess the power of an Eikon, are deployed as weapons in these conflicts, affecting the lives of many, including Clive Rosfield, firstborn son of the Archduke of Rosaria.
Clive’s journey will uncover dark truths about his world, leading him on a mission to destroy the very Mothercrystals that others seek to protect. The game’s cast includes Clive’s younger brother, Joshua Rosfield, the Phoenix Dominant, Jill Warrick, a trusted confidant of the Rosfield brothers, and various other characters who cross paths with Clive, such as Benedikta Harman, Hugo Kupka, Dion Lesage, and Barnabas Tharmr, each with their own unique backstory and motivations.
