How to Unlock the North-Star Rod in Fisch

The North-Star Rod is a special reward from the Advent Calendar event, which runs from December 7, 2024, to December 25, 2024, as part of Fisch’s winter update (v1.09.0). The event is simple but requires commitment—you need to log in and claim rewards for nine days to unlock the rod. If you miss a day or don’t want to wait, you can use Robux to skip ahead.

Step 1: Find the Advent Calendar in Moosewood

To get started:

  • Head to Moosewood, the central hub for the Advent event.
  • Look for Tom Elf, the NPC in charge of the calendar. He’s easy to spot near the Leaderboard, surrounded by presents.
  • Interact with Tom Elf to access the Advent Calendar menu.

Step 2: Log In and Claim Rewards

  • Each day, you can claim a new reward from the Advent Calendar. These rewards unlock one at a time as you log in.
  • To get the North-Star Rod, you need to sign in for a total of nine days. The days don’t have to be consecutive, so you won’t lose progress if you miss a day here and there.

Step 3: Use Robux to Skip (Optional)

If you’re short on time or missed too many days, you can use Robux to skip ahead:

  • 19 Robux to skip one day forward.
  • 49 Robux to unlock a missed reward.
  • This is entirely optional but can speed things up if you’re eager to get the rod early.

Fisch North-Star Rod Stats

The North-Star Rod is holiday-inspired, but it’s also a decent fishing tool for small- and medium-sized catches, but nothing to write home about. Here’s the North-Rods stats:

  • Lure Speed: 5%
  • Luck: 30%
  • Control: 0.04
  • Resilience: 12%
  • Max Weight: 875 kg

While the rod is well-balanced, its Max Weight (875 kg) is on the lower side, making it less effective for larger fish. However, its Luck boost (30%) is excellent for improving your chances of catching rare fish.
