In a recent update, PGA TOUR 2K23 has introduced Barstool Sports Fore Play Podcast hosts Frankie, Riggs, and Trent as playable golfers. The fan-favorite personalities join the game’s roster of celebrity athletes, including John Cena and Michael Jordan.
From April 10 to 16, PGA TOUR 2K23 will also host the “Barstool Break 90 Ladder Challenge – Part 2,” challenging players to score under 90 in as many 18-hole rounds as possible within a week. Only rounds played on 2K Official courses and connected online will be eligible. Participants can earn Barstool Sports apparel items, such as hats and polos, with a special hat awarded to those who play a round as Barstool Trent in the game. Players are encouraged to share their best rounds on social media, tagging @BarstoolTrent and using the hashtag #PGATOUR2K23. Rewards will be delivered to eligible players’ MyPLAYER Lockers by April 20, 2023.
PGA TOUR 2K23 is continuously updated with new content, such as Clubhouse Pass rewards, additional playable pros, and courses. The game currently features the Official 2K Mastercard® Golf Contest, where players can compete at Mastercard Mountain Valley CC for a chance to win an exclusive golf experience worth $16,525, including tickets to the Arnold Palmer Invitational 2024 and a five-day hotel stay.
The latest patch update enables crossplay in Private Matches, Casual Matchmaking, and Ranked Matchmaking, allowing players to compete against one another regardless of platform. Season 3 of PGA TOUR 2K23 offers new rewards from PUMA and Cobra, competitions, challenges, and notable names as playable characters.
PGA TOUR 2K23 has also welcomed a new roster of playable celebrities, including basketball star Steph Curry and pro gamer Nadeshot. These celebrities have unique attributes reflecting their real-life playing styles and can be used in various game modes, including MyCAREER Mode.
