Every new season of Fortnite is hyped up as players are eager to find out what new cosmetics and mechanics are coming to the game, with Epic Games not likely to disappoint. Now the trailer for Fortnite Chapter Four, season three has been revealed and it shows how wild the next season is really going to be.

In the trailer, players can see new mechanics like rideable raptors and the previously leaked Optimus Prime skin from Transformers that was leaked a week ago. Players can also see most of the battle pass lineup, which Epic Games finished revealing yesterday.

The trailer is filled with the classic visual spectacles one might expect from previous trailers that have been put out by Epic Games over the last six years. The introduction of dinosaurs into a jungle is a new direction for the game, but one that could provide plenty of opportunities for new gameplay following the rails and movement items like ODM Gear in Chapter Four, season two.

The luminescent rails seem to have been replaced with vines, showing players gliding along them. There was also a new RPG cannon being used by Fishtick, given to him by Optimus Prime. Speaking of Optimus Prime, he may play an integral part in this season’s story, as shown in the trailer.

Doctor Slone is also seen near the end of the trailer, but it’s unclear how or if she has been affected after being slammed by Paradigm’s robot a year ago in the Collision event. She seems to be doing okay, aiming down a scope at the current battle pass line-up.

Data miners like Shiina and iFireMonkey were quick to grab screenshots of the new weapons shown in the trailer, which seem to be two new rifles and an alleged mythic that’s reminiscent of Optimus Prime.

Fortnite also showcased a trailer showing a bunch of the most popular levels from the Unreal Editor in the game, also known as UEFN or Creative 2.0.

Ahead of the trailer being released, Epic Games also changed the background and image on its social profiles, taking a more green hue in reflection of the jungle shown next season.
