Epic Games is back again with another update for their sandbox game, Fortnite Creative. This time, the Shockwave Hammer, Falcon Scout, Guardian Shield, and Reboot Van, which all come from Fortnite Battle Royale, will finally become available in Fortnite Creative v23.20 update. In addition, the update will include a revamped Ball Spawner device, new visual variations for the Wildlife Spawner, and enhanced custom post-game options for all islands, as well as adjustments and bug fixes for devices, islands, and tools.

The Shockwave Hammer is a melee weapon that not only does damage, but also launches the player, their squad, or their opponents away from the impact point. After charging the Slam attack, players may launch allies by releasing the primary fire control while they leap in the air. Meanwhile, holding primary fire control when the hammer impacts the ground enables them to launch themselves and others.

The Falcon Scout is a mechanical flying companion that can be used to mark enemies, open containers, and transport loot to teammates. This powerful weapon comes at a price since it exposes the player to danger whenever they guide the Falcon Scout. Nonetheless, it is up to the players to decide whether the risk is worthwhile.

Guardian Shield deploys a protective barrier in front of the player that blocks incoming damage. This shield may offer mobile cover for players while traveling. Additionally, it may be thrown on the ground to establish a permanent point of protection. However, this shield is temporary, and its color changes to indicate how long players have until it runs out.

Creators may place Oathbound Chests on their islands to provide players with a random chance of discovering Shockwave Hammer, Falcon Scout, and Guardian Shield.

Reboot Van Spawner may now be spawned on the islands, allowing players to revive eliminated teammates. Creators may configure which teams or classes can use the Reboot Van, as well as which events are triggered when the Reboot Van is recharged or a group of players has been rebooted.

Meanwhile, the Ball Spawner receives an update that improves its physics behavior and adds new options and adjustments. With this version, creators may now adjust the size of the ball directly, customize the maximum distance range, and set the ball to trigger events when it is touched by a player.

New visual variants have also been added to some of the animals spawned by the Wildlife Spawner. The Biome Variant option will now be displayed if the Type option is set to Chicken, Boar, or Wolf. The default appearance for these animals is the Classic variant, but the Medieval and Snow variants are also available.

Custom post-game settings are also now available for all creator-made islands. Here are the options available when the Post Game Type option is set to Custom:

  • Custom Post Game Show Scoreboard
  • Custom Post Game Victory Animation Style
  • Custom Post Game Victory Animation Color Set
  • Custom Post Game Victory Animation Text
