There hasn’t ever been a game that’s built for crossovers like Fortnite, with countless movies, celebrities, and media franchises making appearances. Fitting with tradition, the Australian horror film Talk to Me will be getting a special crossover inside one of the most well-known Creative levels in Fortnite, Deadpines: Zombie Survival.
Talk to Me follows the story of a group of friends who encounter an embalmed hand that allows them to talk to the dead with dire consequences. The new addition to the Deadpines level will seek to put players in the shoes of these friends, fighting through a haunted house that features recreations of important scenes from the movie.

The trailer for Talk to Me is incredibly scary as it transitions from a group of friends hanging out to a night filled with possessions and violence. This kind of intensity will be hard to recreate inside of Fortnite, but the game itself should be plenty of fun and allow players to prepare for the movie by seeing some of the familiar scenes from the film.
Talk to Me is a 2022 horror movie from Australia that toured at the Adelaide and Sundance Film Festivals. Following positive reviews, it will be getting a full theatrical release across Australia on July 27, just 10 days from now. If it’s well received, it may come to other regions, but at least players from across the world will be able to explore the themes and sets in this game.
Players can find the Talk to Me mode in Deadpines: Zombie Survival at the Island Code 0598-1708-7538.
