Fortnite is one of the most popular games in the world, consistently bringing players to the game year after year. Part of this appeal that brings players back is the introduction of interesting new cosmetics and other benefits. Players who sign up with the monthly Crew Pack will be charged a fee and receive new skin and in-game currency.
July’s Crew Pack skin is named Phaedra, and she’s a dark nautical adventurer with a large-brimmed hat and an umbrella that blocks out the sun. The skin comes with the black octopus Ceph Back Bling, a black Stygian Parasol Pickaxe, the Gothic Shadesoarer Glider, and the Inky Reflection Loading screen. Phaedra also comes with the Shrouded alternative style, which provides additional cover from the light.
In addition to the new cosmetics, players will also get access to Fortnite Save the World, the PvE game that allows players to work together to fight off hordes of monsters. While players normally have to buy a different pack each season to unlock Save the World, Epic is now giving access to this month’s crew pack. However, unlike previous packs that include STW, Phaedra will not be a hero in the PvE game mode.
Currently, STW is available on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PC, and cloud gaming. If you play Fortnite on a platform that doesn’t offer that part of the game, you’ll still have access on your account.
As with previous Crew Packs, the player will also gain access to other features with their purchase. Players who subscribe will gain access to the Chapter Three, Season Three Battle Pass, or 950 V-Bucks if they already own it. Speaking of V-Bucks, players will earn 1,000 of them for free when they subscribe or when the next subscription occurs.
Players still have time to unlock June’s Crew Pack, which includes the Mecha Strike Commander from the Chapter Three, Season Two end event before it leaves the shop on June 30th.
