It’s the time of year when Fortnite is once again preparing for a new season update that will introduce a whole new theme and mechanics to the title. Epic Games has been teasing a spy and heist theme in recent days, sending out sneak peeks at a new POI and weapons that players can expect, with recent leaks showing the return of the Midas’ Mythic, the introduction of deployable turrets, and a new RPG.

The new information about Fortnite Chapter Four, season four has been slowly released and shared by data miners speculating on the new additions. While previous teasers revealed the new POI and a vault filled with mysterious treasures, one also showed Midas’ Drum Gun and some new briefcase turrets. The Drum Gun is allegedly still tied to Midas, which could signal some form of return in the next season.

The turrets look like something pulled directly out of a spy movie, appearing to grow legs and produce a gun barrel from a hidden compartment. It will be interesting to see if this is treated as an NPC that can follow players around or if it’s controllable like the flyable Falcon drone from a few seasons ago. Regardless, it’s an adorable addition that definitely fits the theme.

There will also be some kind of new RPG-like device that looks like a combination between a battering ram and an RPG. The written words “Knock Knock!” on the side paired with the item’s name, “Rocket Ram” seem to imply this as well. This may help players get into the vaults that have been teased or just knock opponents across the map.

It is still early in the morning, so Epic Games could still tease more weapons. However, since these haven’t been leaked ahead of time, they’re sure to have much more of an impact on players.
