The Fortnite UEFN 24.30 Patch is now available, introducing several new features and fixes to the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN).

Among the new additions to the UEFN are 366 unique icon textures for devices supporting Icon Identifiers, and improved memory calculation with a Browse button for easier asset navigation in the Outliner. Fixes in this area include updating the Conditional Button for live-edit sessions, proper rendering of the Character Rimlight Intensity setting, and Class Designer devices no longer being marked as needing to be saved when unaltered.

In the Editor section, updates include a revamped New Level From Island window, a fixed ocean height for imported islands, and an exposed docsUrl property in the .uefnproject file for easy access to island documentation. Fixes encompass HLOD generation, smoother module preparation, corrected Memory Management hyperlink, proper Project Title display, and resolving Unreal Revision Control sync issues, among other improvements.

The Verse API now allows users to spawn custom props, offers full transform support with Verse TeleportTo, and adds GetViewLocation() to fort_character. Players can also query the state of a fort_character, use a transform for SpawnProp() and MoveTo(), and benefit from component-wise vector division for vector2 and vector3. Fixes include addressing issues with TeleportTo(), MoveTo(), and prop quota calculation.

Tools have been improved with a check to ensure the VS Code workspace from UEFN has a settings field before attempting to read from it. The Creator Portal features a new banner for Listed or Unlisted project management and fixes for project publishing, ownership transfers, team management, project page presentation, error messaging, and UI updates.

Lastly, Unreal Revision Control fixes include resolving issues with automatic polling for new snapshots, check-out operations, Verse file display, and local file deletion.
