If you’ve been getting bored with the recent set of weapons that are available in Fortnite, it looks like Epic is spicing things up by bringing back three well-known options for your arsenal. In the hotfix added on May 10th, 2022 the game will now feature the Hunting Rifle, Flint Knock Pistol, and the Air Strike grenade!

The Hunting Rifle is a well-known favorite and functions as kind of a midrange sniper rifle. It can be a good way to lead off a fight with a quick chunk of damage and then a switch to your assault rifle or other closer range weaponry. The rifle will be available as uncommon to legendary in terms of rarity, and can be found in floor loot, chests, and supply drops.

If you’re looking to give yourself some additional movement, then you will want to roll with the Flint Knock Pistol. While it can dish out some damage to an enemy, it is mostly used as a way to quickly burst upwards by firing at the ground which knocks you into the air. This is available as a common and uncommon, which you will come across as floor loot and chests.

The Air Strike might be the most polarizing of the newly added options to Fortnite. It is a grenade like item that allows you to call down a barrage of missiles where you throw it. This is great for getting people out of a bunkered area, or forcing them to move out of an advantageous position. When the Air Strike is deployed, red smoke will appear all over the area that is about to be bombarded. Shortly afterwards the bombs will be dropped!
