The recent Fortnite Battle Royale v25.10 update presents several additions to the game, including the introduction of the Cloak Gauntlets, the MK-Alpha Assault Rifle, and the reinstatement of the Flare Gun.

With the v25.10 update, players can employ the newly-introduced Cloak Gauntlets to blend seamlessly with their surroundings, rendering themselves nearly invisible. These gauntlets, constructed from reflective Kinetic Ore, can be found in the game world and within Chests. Once activated, they provide temporary coverage in Kinetic Ore before entering a cooldown phase. Despite this cooldown, the gauntlets carry unlimited charges, allowing players to reapply the cloak repeatedly. However, it’s important to note that while under the effects of the Cloak Gauntlets, players are unable to engage in combat. The cloaking can be ended prematurely by removing the gauntlets or switching to another inventory item.

Wildguard Relik, a new boss character introduced in this update, resides in the jungle and drops a Mythic version of the Cloak Gauntlets upon defeat. This version allows for longer duration of coverage in Kinetic Ore and a shorter cooldown period between uses.

Additionally, the v25.10 update introduces the MK-Alpha Assault Rifle, a fully automatic weapon equipped with a red-dot sight. A Mythic version of this assault rifle has also appeared on the Island. Upon defeating Wildguard Relik, players can acquire not only his Mythic Cloak Gauntlets but also Relik’s MK-Alpha Assault Rifle.

Another significant update in v25.10 is the return of the Flare Gun. This tool, which can be sourced from both the ground and Chests, is capable of igniting enemy structures, contributing to the dynamic nature of Fortnite’s gameplay. To avoid being marked by another player’s Flare Gun, players can resort to covering themselves in mud.
