While the news of Fortnite and Coachella collaborating on some cosmetics isn’t new, we didn’t get a real chance to get a look at what the collection will look like. Well, it looks like Australia/New Zealand Twitter account for Fortnite accidentally tweeted a bit early because the skins aren’t yet available in the item shop.
The tweet will likely be deleted, but the following image was posted along with the text, “Be where the party’s at. The first wave of the Coachella Set is here!” Based on the tweet, it seems that there will be additional items from the well-known concert not pictured.
Here’s a look at the image that was leaked via the tweet. There’s two outfits along with some pickaxes, back blings, and a wrap.
While the 2020 and 2021 Coachella’s were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they will be putting on the show in 2022 with headlining acts such as, Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, and Swedish House Mafia. Kanye West was originally slated to take part but backed out two weeks before the festival.
It’s unclear exactly when the cosmetic items will be released into the Fortnite item shop, but it should very likely be in the next day or two. Coachella 2022 will take place starting April 15th, so it would be surprising if they weren’t released a day before or on the date of the show!
