Fortnite is one of the most popular battle royales out right now due to the fact that it is consistently changing the loot pool to keep players engaged. Now, in the v25.11 update on June 27, it was announced that Fortnite would be replacing the recently removed Chug Splashes with a Slap variant, aptly named the Chug Splash.

Ahead of the season’s release, data miners like HYPEX, iFireMonkey, and ShiinaBR shared data mining leaks during the server downtime. One of these leaks included the new energy drink to Chapter Four, Slap, would be getting its own Splash variant. This allows players to cover large group of people and give them all the effects of the energy drink, including improved health and stamina.

The addition of this cosmetic comes after the Chug Splash was removed at the start on Chapter Four, season three. It was rumored that there might be something coming to replace it and now fans know that the Slap energy drink has been manufactured into its own portable versions. It’s only a four pack though, although its unlikely this will have a major effect on the effectiveness.

Ever since the launch of Chapter Four in December 2022, the once classic Chug consumable has faced serious competition from Slap. This is just the latest in small moves the Fortnite energy drink has taken against competition on the island.

This is a developing story and more information will be added as it becomes available. Make sure to check back at Try Hard Guides for all the latest information about Fortnite‘s v25.11 update on June 27.
