Fortnite has had hit-or-miss summer events in the last few years, with fans seemingly either expressing extreme support or disappointment depending on what’s included. With the v25.11 update on June 27, it seems that Epic Games is getting ready ahead of the scheduled release date of the summer event next week on Tuesday, July 4.

Epic has been pretty good about keeping the files related to the summer event this year under wraps, with the v25.11 update today adding the quests but keeping them encrypted. Players did get a look at a new patriotic Jules skin, but there will be more skins that are unlocked during the summer event as well as previous events’ skins being brought back.

There were other skins added as part of the update, including the summer concept for an Isabelle skin by popular Fortnite YouTuber and content creator D3NNI. The concept is going to be the July 2023 Crew Pack according to the data miners, but we’ll need to wait for official confirmation from Epic in the coming days before we know for sure.

It also appears that there will be a new variation of the Chaos Agent skin as well, as shown in the loading screen above. It looks like the Chaos Agent has taken up a hobby of scuba diving on the island in recent years, as seen by the large flippers on his feet and the oxygen system that was already a big part of the character.

With the summer event in 2022 being considered largely barren, it will be interesting to see how the developer responds with the event this year.
