Ahead of the Genshin Impact version 2.8’s conclusion, leaks regarding the upcoming 3.0 Character Banners have surfaced online. From the datamined content, it appears that players may finally be able to pull for a few Sumeru characters and highly awaited rerun characters!
Genshin Impact 3.0 update is getting closer to being released and fans are already looking forward to the Character Banners that will be available. Character Banner leaks are one of the most anticipated datamined content since they often help players in estimating and managing their Primogems savings in preparation for the release of their desired Character Banner. Nonetheless, HoYoverse provides players with important information on upcoming improvements, such as Character Banners, through a Special Program Livestream that is presented before the addition of the new version.
Meanwhile, the Genshin Impact version 3.0 is expected to introduce the Sumeru region and bring a few playable Sumeru Characters. Previously, Genshin Impact has already officially announced some Sumeru characters such as Tighnari, Collei, and Dori. This suggests that the three Sumeru characters may also be featured in the forthcoming 3.0 Character Banner and may play a significant role in the new World Quest.
According to Genshin Impact dataminer, SaveYourPrimos, there might be triple Character Banners to be made available during the 3.0 update. Specifically, the first phase would feature Tighnari and Collei’s Character Banner. The second phase is claimed to include Zhongli and Ganyu reruns along with Dori. The legitimacy of the alleged third banner is still uncertain, however, some believe that it may be another Rerun character Banner featuring Childe, Hu Tao, Eula, or Albedo. Moreover, if there would be a third banner, it is possible that each banner would run for a period of two weeks.
If Genshin Impact adheres to its schedule, fans may expect the 3.0 Special Program to premiere on August 14th. Meanwhile, the 3.0 update’s earlier phase may arrive on August 25th. For the time being, players may still participate in the 2.8 final phase events to save up Primogems for the 3.0 Character Banners that will soon be released.
