Genshin Impact 3.6 Countdown
If you aren’t sure how that time translates to where you live in the world, we are featuring the following countdown that will tick down until the expected release of the 3.6 update for Genshin Impact.
Genshin Impact 3.6 Details
Genshin Impact 3.6 introduces two new playable characters: Kaveh and Baizhu. Kaveh is a Dendro character and the mastermind behind the construction of the Palace of Alcazarzaray. He was a top student of the Sumeru Akademiya, where he studied under the guidance of Kshahrewar Darshan, and graduated with honors. However, Kaveh’s immense debt from the construction of the Palace forced him to move in with his constant bickering roommate, Alhaitham.
Baizhu, on the other hand, is the owner of Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue Harbor and serves as Qiqi’s guardian. He is also a Dendro character and has a unique companion, Changsheng, who is a talking white snake that rests on his shoulders.
The Genshin Impact 3.6 patch also brings about various changes to the Genius Invokation TCG. These adjustments include changes to card descriptions, elemental dice requirements, and combat statuses. For instance, the description of Combat Status “Sparks ‘n’ Splash” generated by Character Card “Klee” has been altered from dealing 2 Pyro DMG to the player’s active character to dealing 2 Pyro DMG to the team’s active character after a character with “Sparks ‘n’ Splash” uses a skill. The number of Elemental Dice required for the Event Card “Katheryne” has also been reduced from 2 Elemental Dice to 1. Additionally, adjustments have been made to other character and equipment cards in the game.
The Genius Invokation TCG update also optimizes the game by removing margin restrictions when playing on mobile devices and improving controller operations. Players can now hold the selection button and push the left joystick to select multiple dice during the Roll Phase, and the button to end the turn is now always displayed. They can also switch between their Hand and Character Skills by pushing the joystick.
Audio improvements are also present in the update, with the character “Verdant Strider” Tighnari (Dendro)’s VA being updated. The English and Korean voice-overs of some characters have been optimized, while Chinese voice lines have been fixed in Profile > Voice-Over. The Korean, English, and Japanese voice lines for some quests have also been optimized, and inconsistencies between the Chinese voice-overs and text for certain quests have been addressed. Furthermore, the English and Japanese voice-overs for certain items and creatures have been enhanced.
In the system, the avatar images of some enemies have been adjusted, and restrictions on the addition and movement of some furnishings have been removed in the Serenitea Pot. Lastly, the camera function in the Paimon Menu can no longer be used when the character is diving. These changes aim to enhance the overall gameplay experience for Genshin Impact players.
