In preparation for the highly anticipated version 3.8, Genshin Impact recently aired a Special Program, offering a preview of the new features and content awaiting players. As per usual, the forthcoming update will introduce new character and weapon banners, along with a variety of new events and quests.
As revealed in the latest Special Program, Klee and Eula will be returning for their own event wishes in the first part of Genshin Impact 3.8. Meanwhile, the second phase of this upcoming update will see the return of Sangonomiya Kokomi and The Wanderer‘s event wishes.
Kaeya is also set to have a Hangout event, allowing Travelers to learn more about the Cavalry Captain of the Knights of Favonius. Adding to the excitement, Kaeya and Klee have received new character skins, allowing players to unlock these new looks and show them off to their friends. Klee’s outfit will feature a stunning design reserved exclusively for important performances, while Kaeya’s attire will be inspired by his role as the “Dagger Bandit” in a play.
Genshin Impact 3.8 will arrive with an event-exclusive domain called Bottleland, a mysterious ancient desert nation. This new area will be the setting of the main in-game event ‘Secret Summer Paradise.’ Departing from previous summer events, version 3.8’s main event takes place on an island inside a bottle, concealed somewhere in the desert. Travelers will partake in time-based mini-games, combat challenges, and a puzzle-platformer event, among others, as part of the Secret Summer Paradise event. A thrilling roller coaster ride around the Veluriyam Mirage also awaits Travelers.
The 3.8 Special Program concluded with a surprising reveal of Fontaine, the next explorable nation in Teyvat. Fontaine is the home of the Hydro Archon, also known as the God of Justice. The program offered glimpses of gameplay mechanics set in the underwater region of Fontaine, sparking even greater anticipation for the new adventures awaiting players in Genshin Impact.
