Genshin Impact does not disappoint when it comes to teasing upcoming playable characters. In today’s drip marketing, Dehya and Mika, two upcoming playable characters, have been featured in Genshin Impact’s official post, boasting their amazing character design. Although both characters had already made an appearance in earlier quests, the drip marketing posts have generated further excitement for fans.
Mika Schmidt is an upcoming playable Cryo vision holder in Genshin Impact. He is a Mondstadt character who has the Palambus Constellation. As a member of the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company, he is usually highly conscientious in carrying out all of the responsibilities that are assigned to him.
Mika appeared during version 3.1 “Of Ballads And Brews Act 1” reading Varka’s letter. Mika’s rarity and weapon are still unknown, although there are rumors that he will be a 4-star character and a Polearm wielder.
Meanwhile, Dehya is an upcoming playable Pyro vision holder. She first appeared in version 3.0 Chapter III of the Archon Quests. She is a Sumeru character who has the Mantichora Constellation. Dehya is a highly regarded warrior in the circles of mercenaries as she is known to be courageous without being impulsive and powerful without being arrogant.
During the events of Secret of the Scorching Desert, Dehya is seen using a claymore known as Old Merc’s Pal. She was also seen wielding another claymore, an ascended Waster Greatsword during The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings. Fans speculate that Dehya will be a 5-star character based on her appearance and the story behind her.
Although Mika and Dehya are now officially introduced as playable characters, It is still uncertain when Mika and Dehya will be featured in the character banners. However, fans can expect that they will be made available during the 3.5 update that will roll out in late February.
