A Genshin Impact leak has revealed that HoYoverse has prepared a new character banner roadmap for upcoming updates.
Genshin Impact is still running its version, but details about upcoming updates have already begun surfacing online. In a recent leak, the anticipated character banners for versions 3.1 up to 3.5, and more were revealed. As such, some fans were fueled with excitement upon knowing that the long-awaited arrival of the playable characters they had been hoping for may happen very soon.
Genshin Impact dataminer, SaveYourPrimos, has provided a timeline of the speculative roadmap in a recent Twitter post. In contrast to earlier updates, the recently leaked roadmap reveals that the existing character banners and repeat system have not been subjected to any significant revisions. The following is the possible timeline for the character banners’ arrival in forthcoming updates:
Patch 3.1 – September 28th
- Cyno (5-star)
- Nilou (5-star)
- Candace (4-star)
- Rerun: Eula or Venti
Patch 3.2 – November 2nd
- Kusanali (5-star)
- Layla (4-star)
- Rerun: Child, Yae Miko, Yoimiya, or Hu Tao
Patch 3.3 – December 7th
- Scaramouche (5-star)
- Faruzan (4-star)
- Rerun: Albedo, Hu Tao, Raiden, Ayaka, or other Inazuma characters
Patch 3.4 – January 18th (Lantern Rite)
- Rerun: Shenhe, Hu Tao, Yelan, or Xiao
Patch 3.5 – March 1st
- Dehya (5-star)
So far, the list of character banners, coming to future updates of Genshin Impact, as provided by the leak, are already exciting. While details about the arrival of most of the included upcoming characters seem already convincing, the rerun possibilities are still questionable. For instance, Hu Tao has been speculated to return in several versions, though it is more likely that she will return during the Halloween month as with previous versions.
In any case, Genshin Impact leaked contents are always subject to change. Fans may confirm any details about upcoming playable characters through official announcements, especially during the Special Program livestream.
