Today, as the rumored release date of Genshin Impact‘s upcoming version 2.7 ”Hidden Dreams in the Depths” is drawing closer and closer, known leaker UBatcha revealed a new leak, this time featuring one of the version’s promo videos.
The video, which you can check out below, courtesy of UBatcha on Twitter, gives not only a better look at the already leaked key art of the upcoming version, featuring all the characters set to play major roles in the new storyline, but also showcases more of both Yelan and Kuki Shinobu, the main stars of the upcoming update.
The leak happened shortly after HoYoverse revealed, in an answer on Bilibili that the game’s upcoming Special Program Livestream was postponed from its planned and unannounced release date. It’s important to point out that, taking into account many leaks and rumors regarding the stream, the Special Program would have premiered at the end of April.
With that said, and, as you could see above, Yelan will be a 5-star Hydro Archer, while Kuki Shinobu will be a 4-star Electro Sword user. According to many leaks regarding both of their kits, Yelan will be focused on dealing massive Elemental DMG while on and off the field, while also being able to easily enable reactions. Shinobu, on the other hand, will be capable of dealing high amounts of elemental damage, all while healing the party efficiently.
Genshin Impact version 2.7 will debut, according to the run-time of the game’s current wave of banners, which features the first Kamisato Ayaka rerun, on the second week of May 2022.
