Ghost of Tsushima Update 2.04 Patch Notes
The official patch notes for this update have not yet been released, but we do know some of the stuff that was added into the game. While this patch largely sets up the game for the new Director’s Cut expansion and Iki Island, there are some new options added so all players can enjoy the game further!
- Target Locking – You can now enable target locking in the settings of the game. There’s a setting called Swap on Defeat, which will change your target once you’ve eliminated the enemy you were focused on.
- Hide Bow and Quiver – You can now hide your Quiver so it no longer shows on your back. You can only opt to hide both, so it’s all or nothing.
- New Assassination Animations – There are multiple new assassination animations that will occur when you slay an enemy.
- Replay Duels – If you’ve completed all of the epic duels in the game, you can now experience them again. Just go to the map and target the location of the duel. You will now be able to press the square button to replay it!
- Replay Camps – You can also replay camps that you have already completed. It’s the same process as replaying a duel.
- New icons for stealth, defense, and ranged charms have been added.
- Activities such as, Bamboo Strikes, Duels, and Haikus are in their own category.
- Fox has had its model updated and features a new petting animation.
- The Grappling Hook can now be used on slacklines!

After transferring your save, when you load into your game the PS5 trophies should begin to appear.
NOTE: the A Moment In Time trophy will not pop until you enter photo mode and toggle any option, at which point you will re-earn it.
If you previously earned the Platinum Trophy, it will only be re-earned after you have A Moment In Time.
If you previously earned the Grand Opening trophy in New Game+, you’ll have to enter the shop of Baku the Voiceless again and exit to re-earn the trophy. You won’t need to trade in any additional Ghost Flowers; simply browse Baku’s inventory and then exit.
