Gran Turismo 7’s latest trailer has finally confirmed the new cars that were teased for Patch 1.19, although some new Curations were also added for the game’s “Scapes” mode.

The update is expected to release today at 11 PM pacific time, despite a recent tweet from Gran Turismo’s feed which suggests it’s “available now”.

Three brand-new cars are definitely going to make for some fun content, but fans are still a little frustrated after hoping for more features instead.

Specifically, many players have been looking forward to new tracks, the option to sell cars, or changes to the ticket system. Selling cars is an essential mechanic that the devs haven’t given any news for.

However, Patch 1.19 is still a free update with some new vehicles, which is hard to argue with. It’s more new content than most games can boast. Fans were definitely worked into a frenzy of speculation when the update was partly leaked in a tweet from Kazunori Yamauchi, as seen here:

New Cars and Curations breakdown

The latest cars that will be added to the game include the 1954 Maserati A6GCS/53 Spyder, 1984 Nissan Skyline Super Silhouette Group 5, and 2013 Porsche 918 Spyder.

The Maserati is actually the winner of the 2014 Gran Turismo Trophy, which is awarded every year at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, which is considered the most elite and popular car show.

There will also be some gorgeous new Curations for the “Scapes” mode. These include Japan’s “Shikoku” Region and “Tomica Town”, a Tokyo-based location that’s famous for its scale models and toy cars.

For newcomers, Scapes is basically an advanced theater and photo mode. Players can use Scapes to put their cars in virtual recreation of real-world spaces, and then use powerful editing tools to create unique images.
